Grand prayer net

The greatness and grandness of our place in the community of love

Think about this for a moment. In the human family tree, we are all called “great” or “grand” to many other people, alive or dead. We may also have younger “greats” or “grands” whose welfare concerns us now.

Our great-grandparents, to whom we are great-grand-children, may have moved on to eternity, though perhaps they are still alive here. Maybe you have grandchildren and great-grandchildren, yourself!

Perhaps you are a great-aunt, a great-uncle, grandmother or grandfather, great-nephew or grand-niece, or a grandchild. If you don’t feel much connected these days in the human order, you can reflect that we are all connected, spiritually.

Simply as created human beings, we are children of the Great, Grand Creator. It is said we are made in His image and likeness, with eternal souls, and we all belong to the spiritual community of His love.

The spark of His love is what created and sustains, and is the origin of the love we can share with each other, and which we can give back to Him, in a fruitful relationship.

We can all pray, in these unsettling times. We can pray simply, or simply pray, and be part of a grand prayer net. Prayer is where holy action must begin, and it is holy action in itself, as well.

This is an invitation to pray, and to amplify each other’s prayers, for ourselves, each other and our grands. Let’s maintain a safety net of prayer. God hears and answers when we ask: “Seek, and you shall find; ask, and the door shall be opened unto you” (Matthew 7:7).

We all NEED His mercy, peace, wisdom, kindness, guidance, protection, and help, so let’s ask, with prayer. Love is relationship, and prayer is relationship with Him!

Him? For Christians, the power of prayer is in specific connection to Christ, “the true Vine“. We are the branches and without him, He has told us, we can do nothing. (John 15:4). But in Him, with even the smallest bit of faith, “all things are possible“ He has declared.

So let’s take Him at his word! Connecting with Him in prayer, and abiding in Him, let’s love one another and just trust Him! “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible” Matthew 19:26.

You don’t need to sign up here, give your data, donate, or buy, anything! Just pray. Our Creator hears us.

Please don’t stress about it, either. A tiny little bit of faith goes a long way in the Father’s economy, after all! Think about the size of a mustard seed! A few loaves and fishes? He multiplies. 💕Thank for praying however you do, and from wherever you are. It matters. We all matter a great deal to our loving Creator.
